The Zora are a high temperature aquatic race, blue and streamlined to fly through water at an amazing pace. They are somewhat fish-like in appeared with slick bodies for aerodynamics in the water. The Zora's are allies of the monarchy and reside in Zora's Domain a watery paradise. They were cruelly attacked by Ganondorf who froze their home killing many of them off

Their king is King Zora who's daughter, Ruto, wishes to marry link. Ruto however later becomes a sage and explains sages cant marry and luckily (for you) calls the whole thing off. The Zora's seemed to grow hostile as the years went on and by the Second Age of Link appear to have metamorphed completely into a hostile more fish-like race. More than a little confusing.
